The Association IKSIT (international ceramic symposium Innsbruck-Tirol) organizes the 5th symposium in cooperation with the Economic Chamber of Trade, Crafts and Industry,

the culture department of the city of Innsbruck, of the Tyroleangovernment and of the ministry of culture.

This IKSIT will be the artistic part of a great international conference about clay. The conference will discuss  scientifically the material from prehistory, education, design to technical

application,

Place of performance : BAUAkademie - Lehrbauhof Tirol, Egger-Lienz-Str. 132; 6020  Innsbruck, here we work, live and eat together

Exhibitions : 1. In the Tiroler Volkskunstmuseum - Museum of Tyrolian regional heritage, we show works made during the workshop and 1 piece brought ready made by each participating artist as well as

                                   a selection of the collection from the symposium Gmunden contemporary ceramic in dialog with objects of the Volkskunstmuseum

                                   opening in the evening  Mo 25 of September, this is also the final fest for IKSIT. This exhibition will last at least one month.
