 International C(K)eramic Symposium Innsbruck-Tirol, since 2005 every three years

Innsbruck, an old cultural city, located in wonderful surroundings in central Europe is an ideal location for meetings and cooperations of artists with different cultural backgrounds. Intellectual and practical exchange between local artists and colleagues from other countries is achieved by working closely together; thereby the range of views regarding artistic ideas and practices is enlarged. Exhibitions and public lectures offer the chance for communication and discussions for participants and interested visitors.

The goal of this symposium, the accompanying exhibitions and the additional events is the exchange of ideas and a shared working process, as well as to present different positions of ceramic art of the highest quality and to encourage the dialogue within contemporary art.

These symposia are part of the EU cultural programme.
